Please join us for a night to remember as we save our friend Lauren Del Vecchio's heart.
The Save Laurens Heart FundRAGER 2.0 on Thursday May 31 will be a fun and fabulous night out to celebrate life, health, remarkable progress, endless determination, and unwavering strength.
Complimentary beverages including Skinny Girl Cocktails, delicious food, auction and raffles, and a positive vibe will be provided. Music by Lauren's favorite, world famous DJ Jason Angola.

The original SaveLaurensHeart FundRAGER was born in 2008; when our close friend Lauren Del Vecchio found out her heart was failing at 25 years old, caused by an autoimmune disease called Scleroderma. It was pumping at only 15%. Donations at that time made a huge contribution to Lauren’s healing efforts, medical expenses, and search for treatments and doctors. Without it she would not be where she is today; 25 lbs heavier and maintaining her heart failure to prevent rapid detereoration –avoiding a heart transplant thus far to her doctor’s surprise. Yet every single day is one she must dedicate to keeping her heart stable and managing her illness, it is a matter of living her life outside of a hospital bed. Each day she is faced with the reality that maintining her health is a costly endeavor and she needs our help again
The funds collected will support Lauren in her neverending quest for a team of doctors, alternative healers, treatments, cutting edge technological developments (such as stem cell treatments), and the means to help heal her maintain her health and heal her heart --and one day live a full healthy life.
In the true positive spirit which Lauren approaches each day, the event promises to be a celebration of life, a night where we can all be grateful for our health and happiness –and watch in awe at the support and genuine kindness of your peers. You will find that Lauren’s love for life is contagious, and this infuses the event with an amazing vibe. She is determined to make a full recovery. No matter how long it takes.

The SaveLaurensHeart FundRager was created by the friends and family of Lauren Del Vecchio, a strong and determined fighter who is dedicated to healing herself. Lauren has an autoimmune disease called Scleroderma which affected her heart almost five years ago at age 25, causing severe heart failure, leaving the heart muscle 70% covered in scar tissue. We decided to create a fundraiser for Lauren and her family due to her enormous medical bills and expenses (including medicaiton and vitamins), and the cost of specialists and alternative healing.
The doctors tell Lauren there is no cure for Scleroderma. They tell Lauren her heart condition will end in only one place: a HEART TRANSPLANT. Yet, she is determined to heal her own way and live life outside of a hospital bed for as long as she can. We are determined to support Lauren in her healing journey every step of the way.
